So today I sucked it up and went to the walk in clinic. I got there 15 minutes before the place opened and get this. There was already a line. That is never a good sign. I prepared myself for a long wait. I had a very hard time sitting here. More so than normal. I kept hearing the coughs, nose blowing, and sneezing. Overheard a spider bite, diarrhea, you name it I heard it. I was really starting to panic. No kidding you my hands were shaking. I wear I need to get out more. I find myself having all these crazy symptoms now when I'm alone and stuck in a room full of people. It's like nervousness times 50. I dunno how to describe it really. At this particular place I really wanted a can of Lysol. I had had sanitizer which I applied every ten seconds but I still had such a germy uneasy feeling. Anyways after waiting a hour I got called back. The lady said my neck was incredibly swollen, I had a significant amount of spasms ranging from one shoulder to the next, and everything was really tight. She could feel the muscle of my right side and it wouldn't give. She ordered a MRI but with me not having a PCM on base and me trying to get established downtown it won't happen. So I get the usual. A muscle relaxer(Valium) and a pain pills(Percocet). I really wanted to tell her why bother the stuff doesn't work but after waiting a hour I really just wanted to go home and be with my kids. I head over to Wal greens to get my meds and what do you know the line is ridiculous. I'm not mad I expect it. But, it was like man I am in crazy pain and don't want to stand in a line. Once I drop off the meds they give me a 30 minute wait. Now I love Wal greens but 30 minutes is a long time to spend there. So I literally walk up an down every isle. Not just once either more like 6 times. I found a great deal on laundry soap so I was pretty pleased with that and next thing you know my name was called. I head over to the pharmacy to find another long line. Man I cannot catch a break. So it's my turn and I'm waiting and the lady then tells me she lost one of my medications which resulted in me sitting in their waiting area for another 30 minutes. I was just having the worse luck. FINALLY my meds are all in order and I pay and head home. I was never so happy to see my babies and my house. I took my pills and luckily it wasn't too late for JP's nap time so I took a nap. I guess all the stress and walking wore me out or something because I was freezing and achy all over my neck was throbbing and I was out like nothing. When I woke up it was time for dinner. Paul's the best I tell you. He went and picked up pizza so I didn't have to stand and cook and him and I watched American Idol tryouts. The kids loved their pizza and hopped in the bath. They were out pretty quick and I actually went and laid down about 9:30. Problem was I mixed the wrongs meds. I mixed some of my back meds with the neck and I started having a reaction. My skin got all itchy and I started sweating and burning up and was just plane uncomfortable. It took about 3 hours for my symptoms to go away but they did.
