So Here I am jammin' out and cleaning house when this occurred. I was in the bathroom scrubbing away and then moved on to my bathroom. Once I finished there I moved on to vacuuming JP's room and my room. I made a quick pass through the kid's playroom to check on them and get some mop water made. Hmm what the heck am I stepping on. Good thing the kitchen will be swept next. So I moved back to my bathroom to mop. Went to ring the mop out and stepped on more stuff. What in the world. The kids of course are playing cars in their playroom perfectly innocent and well behaved. Then I look over. I see Justin has snuck in the kitchen and was at the island with his little hand in the sugar bowl. I slowly walk up next to him. He didn't even realize I was standing there. That would explain what I've been stepping on as I passed through the kitchen. He slowly picked up a car and licked it. Then real quickly dipped and removed it from the sugar container. Licked his car, grinned, set the car down on the island, and ran to the playroom and sat back down next to Kailee. All never noticing I was right there watching.
Note to self: After making a cup of coffee never leave the sugar bowl within reach of Justin. Apparently hot wheels make for great spoons and you'll end up with sugar everywhere.

Mt Lemon

Paul, the kids, and I loaded up and headed to Mt Lemon. After a bad storm all night and the weather channel predicting snow in the mountains we definitely wanted to check it out. So we made the drive up and went to a look out point and let the kids play around a bit. Our goal was to make it up to Summerhaven for some hot chocolate and cookies. As soon as we took in the views and the kids played a bit, snowballs were thrown, we went to load up only to find out the road was closed. Um...okay plan B. We took the kids across the street to a little area and they played in the snow there for a while. By the time we made it back to the truck the road had opened. Justin was out cold before we even made it half way to Summer haven. Of course once we made it to Summerhaven we found the Cookie Cabin was closed. Big bummer. Kailee was so upset. We made the decision to stop on the way back down and let her play in a field of snow while JP napped. Next thing we knew the backseat which had been full of complaints was awfully quiet. We both looked back and Kailee was out. I think we were both quite shocked since she hasn't napped in I don't know how long. Good thing we had a long drive back to the house. Both the kids napped and Paul and I tried not to fall asleep. LOL It is an absolutely beautiful day and the mountains were so breath taking. Now I'm trying to decide what to make for dinner while the kids play a little.
