Poor baby boy

So today Justin has had high fever and a green snotty nose. He's had watery eyes and a slight cough for a few day, not to mention not acting like himself. So, I sucked it up and called the base. A lot of the kids in the play group have been sick and since he was around them on Saturday I thought it would be better to call now than wait the typical three to four days I normally do. So I call at 2:50 expecting a three day pass for the walk in clinic only to be told he had to be seen within the next four hours. Not what I wanted to hear at all. At this hour I just knew the walk in clinic would be packed. But, I loaded the kids up and headed over. As soon as I saw there was no parking in the front of the building knew we were in for a wait. :( So I managed to find a parking spot all the way around the back of the building which was packed as well and unloaded the kids. When we walked in I just wanted to turn around and walk back out. People were everywhere and there wasn't but two seats available. I go and sign us in and make JP a chart since it was his first visit and see all the names crossed out but ours. I had a little hope at this point that maybe it would take so long. 3 1/2 hours go by and we are finally called to the back room. The nurse has me put JP on his first big boy scale. To my surprise my son weighs a whopping 31 pounds. Man he's getting big. :( She takes us to our room and attempts to put the oxygen reader on his finger. Yeah that was a no go. Justin flat jerked his hand away and said no way. Another 30 minutes and the doctor walks in. Justin hates doctors. He always has. Well not as a baby but from one on he has. Even Kailee tries making him feel better but Justin is having nothing to do with the concept of the doctor making him feel better. So naturally the doctor tries talking to him and he quickly and grumpily turns his head away from him. The doctor goes to check his lungs and Justin is so not okay with this man touching him. He feels his neck and mentions his glands being swollen. Great I'm thinking. He then attempts to look into his ear which with me holding his face completely against me he is able to. The right ear is very red. Not good. The left one is red as well but not as bad. It does however have quite a bit of wax. Then the fun part. The doctor goes to check his throat and Justin clamps his mouth shut so tight he couldn't even wedge the tongue compressor gently in. He ended up jamming it in his mouth to barley pry it open. That of course just ticked JP off. He looked up and immediately started crying how he hurt him bad bad bad. The doc of course tries not laughing but even I have to admit it was kind of funny. Justin's reaction that is, not him not feeling well and crying. So the diagnosis is double ear infections, swollen glands, and throat infection due to drainage, but not strep. He prescribes an oral antibiotic and an antibiotic ear drop. So now we head over to Wal Greens where they tell us it'll be a 45 minute wait. I take the kids over to a local housing area and look at houses to waste some time, then head to Mc D's and get them each a Happy Meal. Go back to Wal Greens and pick up the medicine. We are finally home and I'm running the kid's bath water as I type this. I'll give Justin his first dose of his antibiotic and then put them both in bed shortly after. It's been an exhausting last couple of hours. Here are two videos. One is of Justin's meltdown after the doctor upset him and the other is of Kailee trying to tell him the doctor will make him fell better and when he says no she explains well then you'll stay sick forever LOL.
