Just Because

The kids are eating dinner and I have a moment of free time. I ran across this on a blog I was looking at earlier. Not sure where they got it from because they didn't say. I love how you can read about other people's lives on their blogs. I mean you can get some pretty cool inspiration or run across a blog that'll have you up all night crying and reading their entire blog from beginning to end. Anyways here goes.

Outside my window… the sun is going down and it is perfect temp wise.

I am thinking… there is so much cleaning I should be doing, but playing with my kids is way more fun.

From the learning rooms… hmmm...

I am thankful for… my amazing family. My husband and my wonderful kids.

From the kitchen…. I can hear the kids talking to each other while they are eating dinner. The sink has a few dishes and it's bugging me because they should be in the dishwasher. Why can't the kitchen floor mop itself tonight?
I am wearing… ripped jeans and a pink tank top. I know they are falling off and too big but man are they comfortable.

I am reading... nothing. I need a good book. Oh wait I have a huge medical terminology book I should be reading and testing over. What a slacker I am.

I am hoping… to go to Texas in October. I miss my mom, dad, best friend, and brother so much at the moment.

I am creating… nothing. I have no creative juices at the moment.

I am hearing… my kids pretend to play "cook"

Around the house... there is so much that needs to be done. I need to go through both of the kid's clothes and get rid of stuff that doesn't fit. Dust both of their room furniture, go through their closets, dust the entire house, deep clean both of the bathrooms, and vacume all the rooms, ugh and mop all the tile.

One of my favorite things… is when the kids play with each other the entire day and don't fight.

A few plans for the rest of the week… have all the cleaning done, wash all the bed sheets, come up with some new recipes, have some alone time with Justin, take the kids to the park, get back to my schooling, and a get together Friday.

Here is a picture I thought to share with you...
These two are my entire world.

Good Food and Lots of Laffs

So Paul and I had a little date night last night. These things are always so hard for me since I have to leave my kids with someone and attempt to enjoy the night w/out thinking of them every second. Luckily, we left them with a couple we really trust and who the kids love a ton. They have a five year old boy and a 7 year old girl, so the kids have someone to play with. Justin has a little crush on Bridget and always has. She out of everyone we have met since being here is the only one he has taken to. She's the only one who could ever talk to him or hold him. He always gives her big kisses on the cheek and hugs. Then there's Jay. Kailee for whatever reason is in love with him. Talk about little girl crush. I still remember one time he didn't hug her bye for whatever reason. I think Kailee was being coy at the time and so he left without giving her one and talk about meltdown city. She cried and cried for him saying he didn't tell her bye. Bri another girl there called Jay on her cell phone and let Kailee talk to him and all was fine. Anytime she sees him she does the whole little smile and giggles. Needless to say I knew the combination of the extra kids and trusting/liking the two people watching them we would be fine. Good thing too because they live 30 miles away from out house. So 30 minutes to take then and another to get back to town and then another 30 to get them and another 3o back home. If there were any real issues it wasn't like I could just hop in the car and go get them real quick. So I was praying everything went well and no real issues came up. And of course they didn't. I just always think the worse. So we leave the kids head to Chueys for some good food with another couple and enjoy about a hour there before our show starts. We were meeting at Laffs Comedy Club with a whole bunch of other car forum people. Somehow they got a ton of free tickets for about 20 people. Very cool little spot to hang out. The first guy was ok, the second a lady who has preformed in Vegas was pretty funny to me. I laughed pretty much the entire time. The third lady was so so. She had a few jokes but the entire show was pretty much her making fun of her weight and appearance. So overall it was a good show. I would go again to see what other comedians go. So the show got out about 1130 and off to Saharita it was. Paul was slightly irritated since I wouldn't agree to letting the kids spend the night so he was not wanting to make the 30 minute drive out there to get the kids. I am just not ready for that and no matter how much I might trust a person over night is a whole other story. I mean JP is only two and Kailee's just 4. To me that is way to young. Plus I just knew the kids wouldn't be asleep since they were in a new house and everything. HA talk about proving me wrong, and had I known I would have brought my camera in bc what I saw when I went upstairs was the cutest thing ever. And either she's a magician or my kids really like her because never do they fall asleep for a sitter. All four kids were lined up on the floor all covered in various blankets out cold. It was probably the sweetest thing I have ever seen. I've been kicking myself for not getting a picture. Bridget said the kids had a blast! They went to a neighbors cookout where JP shocked everyone and ate three whole hot dogs. What can I say the boy LOVES meat. She was so worried cause Kailee only ate one and wouldn't eat much more and I had to explain that's just Kailee. She's not much on meat or eating lots. She put in a movie after they got back and they all crashed. So all in all I am so glad the kids did well. It was a fun night to hang out with Paul alone and the kids having a good time made it all better.
