IHOP

This morning the kids and I met up with some of the mom's from our play group and headed over to IHOP. We had the all you can eat pancakes which worked out perfectly. All three of us got more than enough and got out of there for 5.39. You cannot beat that. After IHOP I took them to the mall area to run off some energy. Unfortunately my red camera is MIA so all I had was my phone and this little kid kept intentionally getting in every one of my shots. Neither one of the kids wanted to stay long so I had promised them an icee. Of course the machine was broke....Good thing Cinnabun was right across the way. I personally have never been there. I was able to get them some cinna sticks which made them super happy. After the mall we headed home and the kids went down for a nap. We had dinner when we woke up and then went for a short drive to see what rental properties I could find. I managed to find 7 that I have to call on tomorrow.
When we got home the kids played and then it was bath time. Now I'm about to study some and hit the sack.
We have another early play group in the morning.

Window clings, Surprises, Haircuts...Oh my

What an incredibly busy day we had. After not getting much sleep I ended up waking up super early. The kids had a play date, but I opted not to take them because both had allergy symptoms. So, I made us some blue berry pancakes and we all ate breakfast. When Kailee finished breakfast she wanted to put her Valentine's Day window clings up. She decorated her windows and then got to open a box her Aunt Blue sent her. She was so excited! She got a princess blanket and pillows to match. She immediately went and put them on her bed. Justin got a new book and some new stickers. He was happy the rest of the day.
Justin even got a new haircut. Or I should say his sides trimmed up by daddy. Paul did an amazing job. His hair looks really good. I had a hard time o course because I hate cutting his hair. Every time it goes shorter he looks so much older.
After taking it pretty easy the majority of the day we decided to load the kids up and go look for some rental properties. We must have drove around for 2+ hours and didn't come across many. The kids did however both manage to nap.
After coming home we got the kids dressed and headed to dinner. We met up with some friends at a new Cuban restaurant for Gerald's birthday. I will admit it was very good. A very chill place and it ended up being just us. The kids enjoyed their food and so did we. We were there until about 9 so definitely a good time. Of course by the time we got home it was bed time so I quickly dressed the kids and put them to bed. We have an early play date in the morning and having a late night before can stink. I even took two sleeping pills and was in bed by 10.
