Christmas Garcia Style

So after a super late night I had a an super early morning. Got a text message from my best friend at 6 something that woke me up. I was sooooo tired and didn't even want to move. Good thing though because I still needed to get the stockings stuffed and wrap two more gifts. Then just as I was finishing up and plotting me return to sneak into bed Paul walked in. I was so happy to see him but my bed was calling me. Bed or stay up. I decided to spend the quiet alone time with him. We talked forever and made plans for later in the day. Waited for the kids and had some coffee. Sent out texts of Merry Christmas wishes and waited some more. It went from 7 to 9 and no kids. I was getting antzy. The one time the kids sleep in I'm up :( Ok I won't lie at a little after 10 I couldn't take it anymore and not so discreetly went and brushed my teeth and got ready. Waking the kids up in the process. :) So the kids and I went in the living room. They saw daddy first and went nuts. Then Justin's eyes caught sight of his stocking and cotton candy. He wanted the cotton candy for breakfast LOL We manage to somehow divert his attention and get it back on the mission at hand. So the kids sat down and the gift opening began. THEY HAD SO MUCH FUN! The faces , the gasps of excitement, the flying paper. Such an awesome experience. I loved every second of it. Gift opening didn't last very long. I mean they tore through their stuff in no time. The kids both got some really awesome stuff. Kailee got a ton of princess dress up outfits that she absolutely loved from her Aunt Blue. She got a really pretty locket for her Aunt Tiffany and Uncle James. She put the locket on as soon as she opened it. She also got exactly what she wanted from her Nana and Papa from Texas. She got the Tag reading system and the Leapster2 game system. She's a funny one. She would tell everyone that she asked Santa for a Barbie princess mermaid doll and her Nana and papa for her Leapster2 and Tag reading system because she knew they would get her whatever she wanted LOL. Spoiled yet smart child. Justin, we had a hard time getting him to open gifts because it seemed every gift was car related so he would get stuck staring and wanting to play with them. It was hilarious. I would hand him something else thinking it would get his attention off the cars, and it would be a car or fire truck. It was so funny. He was in a happy place to say the lease. Cars and firetrucks and trains are his thing so he had an awesome Christmas. Kailee kept saying how lucky they were. She was just so grateful for everything. Both kids loved everything. Thank you guys for thinking of them. Paul and I didn't do too bad either. We got a Wii and I got a gift card to my favorite store, Victoria Secret as well as some lotions, and body washes from there. We also got digital photo keychains and stuff for our phones. And, a new photo printer that is amazing! Everyone did an awesome job making their day. After gifts we all got dressed and took off to Phoenix. This is where Paul was getting his Christmas gift. He got a new car! I'll wait and show pics of what the replacement for redbird 1 is. I will say it is sweet. The kids and I had an awesome time. We stayed in the car and danced, sung and just goofed off while Paul test drove and checked the new car out. After he got done we loaded back up and made the two hour drive back home. We had an awesome Christmas and hope you all had the same. By the time we got home it was bed time. The kids changed into their new PJs from Aunt Blue. I tucked Jp in and he was out almost immediately. Kailee and I stayed up a bit. She lined all her princess stuff in a row along the window seal, played with Abbey, then we read a few books and talked about all of her stuff, said our prayers and she told Jesus happy birthday and then wanted to send a video out telling everyone thank you for her stuff. Now it's my turn to go to bed. My back and head are killing me. I'm so ready for some good sleep.

Pics are terribly out of order but I've been trying to upload all day and blogger has been down, so once it came up I just uploaded them however they took them. The first picture is the living room and all it's chaos after we got back.
