And to add to my frustrations for some reason I'm not able to upload pictures to the blog. I can upload videos just not pictures. I have a ton and for some reason it's not letting me :( Ok well I guess that's my sign that I need to go to bed.

What a day

What started off as a pretty good day turned kind of crappy. The kids and I spent most of the day playing and going over our learning material. By the time the kids went down I started noticing the house was warmer than normal. I went and made sure it was set to 78 and noticed it said it was 89 degrees in the house. Ok that's not normal for our house. So...I went and started making dinner for Paul and managed to get that done. The kids woke up hot and sweaty and I knew it wasn't just me. It was plane HOT in here. So I again made sure it was set to 78 and left to take Paul some dinner and take the kids to the park. We had a good time at the station. The kids got to see the fire trucks and then we headed to the park. It was a good time. We ended up seeing Kailee's friend Aaliyah as we were leaving so the played a little while Bri and I talked. Then home we came. As soon as I opened the garage door I knew the AC issue hadn't fixed itself. Currently as I sit here and type this its 92 degrees. So hot. The kids are dying. Kailee of course is upset because she's sweating. JP's little cheeks are super red. So they are sleeping in the master with me. I went ahead and opened the windows. I don't feel comfortable with them sleeping in their own rooms with the windown open. I tried calling our land lady, but apparently I have the wrong cell number and I didn't feel to good about calling her home number at ten. Hopefully when Paul gets home we can get everything fixed. I don't think I can make it with no AC. Anyways I managed to get some cute pics of the kids at the park. Kailee actually smile and let me take her picture. :) That of course made my night. She loves to take professional pictures but when it comes to me apparently I've wore her out LOL. JP always hams it up so I'm sure in a few months he'll be over it as well.

Bye Blue.

After a wonderful week with Blue we had to say bye. This is always super hard for me. It's never the same after she leaves. I get used to having her around like old times then once she leaves I go back to not having any real friends. The kids go through this huge adjustment as well. They are so used to her being around to play with that once they realize she's gone they ask for her constantly. She's an amazing friend and Aunt it just sucks she can't be here with us all the time. She will be missed for sure.

Daddy Day!

Today was daddy day. Paul decided to take the kids to the park while Blue and I hung out and shopped. They loved it! It's all they talked about the whole day. Blue and I hit the mall and the 99 cent store which I HATE. I guess I just don't understand the concept of floor to ceiling stuff. Not to mention the overwhelming smell of incense and oils. And by stuff I mean stuff. So much stuff your eyes can't focus. Its so nerve wracking to me. Blue likes to go and look and for her coming all the way here I can tolerate it once a year. After all she puts up with me. :) We went into the Dollar store as well. Now that place I love. There's no other place you can get educational stuff for a dollar. I swear if I was a teacher I would live in there. I get the best educational posters, work books, work cards, and just fun little reward activities too. Blue and I had planned on going out tonight since it was her last night in Tucson, but first we wanted to make sure the kids had dinner, was bathed, and put to bed. Paul surprised both of us by taking them to Anthony's Diner for pizza and cars. Talk about Kailee's scene. She loves anything to do with cars and her dad. I felt bad because she started complaining of her belly hurting, but once she coned her dad into promising a slushy she was fine. Paul said both kids had a great time. As for Blue and me we always manage to have a good time when we are together. Half way to our first destination I realized I left my wedding ring at home. No big deal to most but for me I can't stand not having it on. Nothing a quick stop to Target couldn't fix. Yes I walked in there and bought a fake wedding ring. Sounds dumb but hey it served it's purpose. Tucson has this great place called Kon Tikis. It's decked out in Hawaiian them and they serve the best tropical drinks. They don't skimp on their liquor either. It's funny because you can go in there and just watch people stumble and fall walking out. We got a scorpion. It's the largest drink you can get and it's meant to split between two. We got strawberry and it was awesome. After sitting there and enjoying our large plate of fries we decided to go to Sharks nightclub. I love this place. It's ghetto and ghetto comes but they play the best music. Tonight ended up being especially ghetto as there was probably 4 to 6 fights. Gotta love drunk people and their retardedness. We still enjoyed ourselves. Now I'm super sad that she has to leave in the morning. :( It's never the same when she leaves. Time to hit the sack.

Splash Park 8-14

Today I had another pain management appointment and since we were going all the way across town Blue and I decided to take the kids to the splash park. It was super hot out and much later than I normally like to take the kids out, but we decided to make the best out of it. Kailee loved it! Justin on the other hand wasn't feeling it this time. I think he was hot and tired. Who can blame him? Overall it was still a great time! At least the splash park offers two really nice covered park areas for the kids to play at. They had more fun there than anything.

Zoo 8-13

Today Blue and I took the kids to the zoo. Blue's never been and the kids have only been once, so I thought it would be a good thing to do. It was an absolute beautiful day. Sunny and hot but clear skies. All the animals despite the heat were out so the kids got to see every animal the zoo had to offer. We all had lunch there and even cooled up in the zoo's mini splash area. Justin amazingly stayed awake until the very end and he walked almost the whole zoo. Kailee was being a little princess and stayed in the stroller until it was time to see an animal. They both carried their maps the whole way through the zoo and Kailee made sure and let us know which animal was coming up next. I'll post a link to the rest of the pictures. There are way to many to put here.
