Chuck E Cheese Time!

What a blast we had today! My mom, me, the kids, my brother, his wife and their kids all loaded up and spent basically the day at Chuck E Cheese. I thought the kids were never going to let us leave. :) We were there for over four hours. It sure didn't feel like it since we had the whole place to ourselves. Kailee and Lucas have really warmed up to each other and played like they were best buds. It was great to see them interact so well together. Heck even Justin got in there and played with those two. I have really enjoyed spending time with my two handsome nephews. I mean look at that little man in the first picture. Who wouldn't fall in love with him? Then there's Lucas who is so hilarious and such a handsome boy. He's been great and has warmed up much better than I thought he would or I should say much quicker. Well that's our day in a nutshell. I hope to have a few more like this before we have to head back.

Our Day Today

What a good day we had. Paul was off and his bike was finally ready to be picked up after being in the shop for ever. We all loaded up and took him the get his bike which ended up being a hour wait but the kids really wanted to stay with their dad so we fried in the car awhile. :) Then we all decided to go get some lunch since it was oneish. Kailee of course chose Mc Donald's b/c of the play area. I'm not one who usually lets the kids play in play area but decided what the heck since the kids waited so long to actually get luch. The kids had a blast and we were there about 2 plus hours. It was so much fun since we were the only ones there. The kids basically had free roam and could play and do whatever since it was just them. I love when that happens. Then we came home and we all well the kids and I took a rare two hr nap together which was awesome. Woke up made some dinner and then we headed outside to play. Once it got dark we came inside and the kids decided they wanted to dance in the computer room. So they did and then Kailee decided she wanted to decorate Justin with Crape paper. Oh the fun! The kids went down about ten and here I am as alwys up on the computer. I'll add some pics from today.

Justin

Little man. Oh where to start? Justin is all boy. 100% no doubt. He keeps us on our toes for sure. He's a very bright little boy. Very inquisitive and always trying to figure out how things work. His vocabulary is right on track and some of the words he is saying are hi, bye, see, sista for Kailee, dadda, mama, light, thank you, cheese, please, and his favorite phrase is did you see that?. He signs, eat, drink, all done and thank you. He loves dancing. Every morning him and Kailee dance in the computer room. He's quite good at it. He loves to be outside. He loves rocks and playing in the dirt and getting dirty. He also loves playing in water. He's a little dardevil as well. He climbs on everything and has no fear of falling. He's also a litle entertainer. He loves being goofy and making us laugh. He has the best laugh. Justin's also a very loving little boy. He hugs and gives kisses and still lets me hold him all the time.

Kailee

Kailee is doing so much these days there's no way I could fit it all on her web page. She is spelling everything in sight and even starting to read more. She will see a stop sign and spell it S-T-O-P and then say that spells stop. She spells all the buildings we pass on the way to the grocery store or around town like Blockbuster, Safeway, Target, Wal Mart even Old Navy and stores in the mall. When reading she is picking out small words like the, at, and, go, and piecing them together to make small sentences. Her vocabulary and sentence structure is truly amazing for her age. She uses words like delectable, compatible, collaborate and all in the correct form. She loves doing work books and learning. She’s still into Spanish and we learn a new word daily. Thanks to Dora and her Aunt Blue she has quite a Spanish vocab. She can count all the way to ten, say hi, bye, stop, open, close, up, down, quiet, good night, good morning, and she knows all of her primary colors as well as more. It would take forever to list all she knows, but I’m very proud of her. She's also very creative with art projects and has an imagination like no other. We have tons of pretend birthday parties, tea parties, store shopping events, musicals, school days. Her imagination keeps me on my toes for sure. She dances and sings whenever she can. I swear she's a little entertainer. She very much tries to make everyone around her happy. Anyone who meets her is always so impressed and says she is a sweet spirit and super bright.
