Babies Everywhere

BIG congrats to my friend Allison for FINALLY becoming an aunt. I know how super excited she is to have her twin nephews here. Her brother Brad's wife had two adorable fraternal twin baby boys on 30August. Evan and Ethan Halfacre. Evan weighed 6lbs 13 ounces and Ethan weighed 6lbs 7 ounces I know her mom is a very proud grandma right now. So congrats to Allison and her whole family. Oh and welcome to the world Evan and Ethan!


My best friend Blue's brother also had his second baby girl on 31August.
They named her Saraphina Josefa. She weighs 8lbs 7.7 ounces and was 20 inches long. This is niece number... oh who knows. Blue has so many nieces and nephews I lost count LOL. Anyways congrats to you and your family as well.



So with all these beautiful babies you might be thinking oh no Mindy has baby fever. Well as much as I love little ones and would love more I am great with the two I have. I LOVE being able to give both of mine the exact amount of love and attention and with more I just don't see how that can be. Plus the biggest issue finances. We can deffinately afford both of these and I can stay home and live comfortably so we are very good and happy with Kailee and Justin. But, after seeing all those pretty newborn shots it kinda took me down memory lane a little. So just for my viewing pleasure, here are pictures of my two when they were first born. Wow time sure does go by too fast. :( :)

October Can't Come Soon Enough

Why you ask? Because the kids and I are going to TEXAS! I am soooo excited! We finally got word that Paul for sure is attending school in San Angelo which means the kids and I will get two full weeks in Texas with my family. We have been waiting forever it seems to get the for sure and today we got it. The kids are so excited and so I am. With Kailee starting school next year it'll be a lot harder to get to Texas to see everyone. I so needed this too. I miss my family and Blue so much! Kailee made sure and called her Nana and her Uncle Chris to tell them she was coming in one month. She tried her Aunt Blue but she didn't answer. She is so excited!


On to other things. Last night Kailee and I were talking before bed where she deicded to ask "Mommy am I pretty?" I said "Of course you are. You are georgeous." To which she asked again "Are you sure I'm pretty?" Again I said "Yes sweetie you are the prettiest girl I know." "Mommy am I prettier than a diamond?" "Yes Kailee you're prettier than a diamond." "U sure because diamonds sure are pretty and sparkly." "Yes honey I'm sure." Besides you're my princess and princess's are very pretty." "But, mommy I'm not a real princess. I don't live in a castle." "I know Kailee, but yes you are pretty and you'll always be my princess." Well ya know mommy I don't move at all if there is a pretty sparkly thing. Not an inch." Then she fell asleep. Oh this girl and all her girly notions. Pink, sparkly, diamonds, princesses, castles. I cannot keep up LOL.
