Say Cheese Baby!

'

I love picture time. It's been since Justin was 12 months since I've had the kid's pictures taken, so I've been looking forward to today since I left Tucson. Plus mom had an awesome coupon for 75 cents a sheet. Heck you can't even print your own for that price. The kids and I, my mom, my brother Chris, my brother James and his family went to Olan Mills to have some family shots taken. Kailee looked so pretty and smiled perfectly. I can't believe how much she still loves having her picture taken. She cheesed it up big time. And, poor Justin. He never has liked the guy at Olan Mills and boy did he not enjoy taking pictures today. Then again it was during his nap time. I did manage to get one good shot of him minus the baseball he clutched onto the entire time LOL. Kailee and my nephew Lucas took a super cute picture together, my brother Chris did amazing with the kids and we all got great shots of him with the kids. He looked like such a great uncle. My other brother James and his family got some really good pictures of their family as well. My mom got some great shots of her and the kids and you could tell she is super proud of her grand kids. I was so proud of my nephew Lucas. I promised him a surprise is he smiled w/teeth since I always here he's not the biggest fan of having his picture taken and typically doesn't smile. He smiled so great and looked super cute. :) I kept my promise and he got a cherry icee. One big surprise I got upon arriving was the photographer showing me an award he won for a picture I had done of Justin when he was 6 months old. I brought in a HUGE Texas star teacup and placed Justin inside the teacup on his choice of background. The guy looked and acted as though I was crazy at the time and I remember him saying this has never been done before and he was very reluctant to take the photo. After seeing Justin's huge smile and being all cramped inside the teacup he instantly fell in love with the outcome and asked if he could submit it for a merit award. I mean I suppose it's odd asking someone to take your kid's picture inside a huge teacup so I didn't exactly blame him for his reaction. Any who...he ended up submitting the picture and got an award for it. So Justin's picture is hanging on the wall of Olan Mills for all to see. Too cool! Perfect ending to a fun day.
