Never ever talk about the kids getting a bubble bath early in the morning. It just heightens their excitement that much more. Tonight while I was looking for bubbles the kids took it upon themselves to create their own bubble bath. Now mind you we have only a few rules at bath time. Do not splash water on the bathroom floor, do not dump any adult shampoo, conditioner, or body soap into the tub just to have a new empty bottle to play with(that one's for JP), and have as much fun as possible without breaking those two rules.
So I'm looking for bubble bath and hear Justin gasp and start clapping. I know his loves bath time but wow that's awfully excited for plain water considering I said he could have a bubble bath. So I'm still looking for the free and clear bubble bath and start pulling out some fun stuff for them to play with in the tub when I hear two big splashes. I was just about to yell not to put water on the floor when I walked into Kailee explaining to JP how she got the bubbles to be so big. At first I don't put two and two together and am having one of those heart swelling moments hearing her say we are so lucky Justin that mommy lets us have bubble baths, and look Justin it's like an adult bath with the water so warm and high. Then something catches my eye. A very cute small bottle that she's waving around as explaining. Then it dawns on me that they are covered in bubbles yet I'm still searching for bubbles. I go in for a closer inspection and realize just why those bubbles are so much bigger than the normal ones. One of them decided to dump a brand new bottle of my bubble bath into the water since I was taking to long. Kailee's words. Grrrrr. I found myself upset for all of about 10 seconds. They were so excited and having so much fun and so happy and so proud of themselves. Besides it's my fault for not putting it up higher or in my bathroom for that matter. These kids I tell you.

Note to self...Never ever leave a brand new Victoria Secret bubble bath in the kids tub and take to long in finding their bubble bath. They will improvise and you'll be out expensive bubble bath.

Note to Self

Sweet and Sour

How can one little girl be sooooo super duper sweet and then so mean in the next second? Of course I'm referring to Kailee. I mean she really is a sweet girl. A little too observant at times as I found out last night but still a total sweetheart. The kids were in the backyard and she found the only blooming flowers in the whole yard and picked some and said "Mommy aren't they pretty?" I said yes and she said "well here they are for you for being the best mom ever". Of course that gets automatic brownie points. She's always doing and saying stuff like that and I love it.
Then not even twenty minutes later our wonderful land lady brings in homemade cookies which of course I couldn't resist. I had to make sure they were acceptable for the kids to eat. Haha That's a total Paul line. So I had one with the kids and then had some water. Kailee then out of no where says wow mom you are fat fat fat. I was like excuse me. She repeated you're fat. I said well not everyone can be as blessed as you miss skinny minny. She then proceeds to tell me well just stop eating and that would fix it. Wow. Thanks sweet daughter of mine. Nothing like pointing out the obvious. I was hurt and slightly depressed the whole night. Nothing says jump your booty in gear like your four year old pointing out your biggest flaw.
