What a day! I literally just walked in the door, bathed the kids, and sat down. We have been on the go the entire day. I woke up at 8 to chug some coffee and have some breakfast. Get myself moving and ready before waking the kids up. My insomnia is worse than ever. I literally no matter what I do or take cannot fall asleep before 3. It's sad but I even have my own night time television schedule. So now I'm addicted to the shows and can't get more than a few hours of sleep. Even the kids are off their schedules. Well not Justin. He's decided he's too old for naps and is trying to eliminate them completely. I'm obviously fighting him on that since the kids is a straight monster without a nap. Ok that's exaggerating quite a bit. He just gets whiny and clingy and doesn't act like his normal self. He really is one of those kids that need a nap. Kailee hasn't napped in I don't know how long and she could also benefit from a nap every once in a while, but she refuses. Obviously I am sleep deprived as this post has wondered completely off topic. Anyways, I pried the kids out of bed at 9. It never fails on days we have something to do early they both choose to sleep in. LOL I actually dressed Kailee in bed while she continues to rest. LOL We head out the door at 9:30 and make it to Reid Park at 10. I'm in love with this park. There is just so much to do and the weather was beautiful. Yes it was cold but nothing a jacket couldn't fix. We fed the ducks, played on the playground, and even went inside the little dog park. What a cute invention. An enclosed area of grass where all the dogs can run around and play and they even supply toys. And, all the owners can chit chat. Apparently people even use it as a date finder because some of those girls looked like they were going out on the town. All dressed up, tons of make up and nice clothes. The kids loved it. Now they are begging to bring Abbey over to the big dog side. I think I'll pass. Not because Abbey's a bad dog because she's far from it. I just hate all the attention she brings. I'm not a people person. I HATE when people talk about my kids or try talking to me about my kids and with Abbey I'll be asked tons of questions by strangers who will be near my kids and it's just too much. Plus, I'm actually worried for Abbey. The big baby doesn't even realize when other dogs are being aggressive towards her. Then I keep thinking of all the little kids trying to pet her and I'll be honest, all the sanitizer in the world couldn't protect her from all the kids who would want to touch her. Just not my thing. Anyways, by the time we left it was HOT. Sun was out and beaming and no wind. After the park I treated the kids to happy meals. They don't get them often but they were starving and it was already 11:30. Plus, Mc Donalds was right across the street and their friend Seirra was going. So we get there order their happy meals, I opted for apple dippers and a diet soda. I wasn't hungry but thirsty I was. So the kids ate and plated until 12:50. I made it home without Justin falling asleep on on me and got home just in time for him to nap. Kailee was exhausted and I just knew she would nap too. Nope she didn't. Around 3:30 we woke up and got dressed back into our clothes and headed to Seirra and Miss Amy's house. They invited us over to a BBQ. And what a feast they had, I so wasn't expecting it. He BBQ'd chicken which was amazing, she made some pasta salad that was so good, which reminds me I forgot the recipe. They had crescent rolls, corn on the cob, fresh strawberry lemonade, and banana pudding with fresh bananas, vanilla wafers, and cool whip. Kailee didn't eat. I didn't expect her to. She's not really into eating much lately. JP managed a few bites of chicken and two rolls before he couldn't stand being the only kid at the table. So after the eating the kids played and explored while I helped Amy clean up. Next thing I knew it was after 7 and poor Seirra has school in the morning. None of the kids were ready to call it a night but I knew we needed to leave. So after the kids helped Seirra clean up we headed home. Both kids are sleeping and I'm about to take my Advanced Medical Terminology Final. Wish me luck. I've been slacking.
Pics won't be up til sometime tomorrow since this final willt ake the majority of my night to complete.
