What a long day. Been up since 7 and out of the house since 10:00. Justin even woke up early at 8. I literally had to drag Kailee out of the bed at 9:30 to get her ready in time to leave. We are all dealing with allergies thanks to being out in the cold wind last night and I'm sure we will all be worse tomorrow since there's a crazy dust/wind storm going on right now.
The kids and I met up with some moms from the moms group I'm trying out at the Tucson Childrens Museum. We went once when we first got here but haven't been back soon. I must say they have added a ton of new stuff and since we've only been once before it was like new to the kids. They had a blast! We were there for over 2 1/2 hours. My meter even ran out. LOL I honestly didn't think we would be there so long. It was a ton of fun though. When we got there the kids played with some puzzles until story time. Justin broke in the place by falling backwards out of a backless seat when trying to sit. He hit his side of his face and eye on the floor. It was a good fall and he has a nice bruise to show for it. After all that we went into the first room and did story time. They heard a story about the snowbelly family and then made their very own snowmen. What a cute craft idea. Then we just explored the whole museum. I thought we were never going to make it out of the train room. Justin was in heaven. They had a train going on a track around the whole room and the kids could push a button and make the train move once it stopped. Then they had a front end of a train the kids could crawl in and pull a string to make the train bell ring. He was loving it! Kailee just loved all the rooms best according to her. But, I think her favorite was the vet room. We were there forever. She was washing, weighing, taking their blood pressure. She even found a dalmatian which is her favorite. Kailee and Justin got to play with their new friend Seirra and she showed them all the other rooms. It was cute. Of course the dinosaur room was a big hit as well as the the art room. Kailee drew a puppy and kitty. Super cute. After the museum we headed over to Chick Fil A. We were starving. I had no idea it was 1:30 when we were leaving. Poor kids hadn't had anything since breakfast. Even I was hungry. So we all got there ate and then the kids played a little more. We weren't there very long though. Poor Justin could hardly keep his eyes open. It was past his bedtime. We said our good byes and headed home into a dust storm. I couldn't even see the cars in front of me or event he light. Craziness. He fell asleep as soon as we got in the car. Took about a 15 minute nap and was done. So far he's not grumpy so guess he was too excited to nap. The kids are playing while I upload and edit pics. Tomorrow is Pump it Up. I am so excited! I've been trying to take the kids to Pump it Up since we were in Vegas before we even got here. I can't wait to see the kid's reactions.
