Arizona has an awesome real pumpkin patch. Who knew? I never expected one since we never had one in Texas and when I heard they did I was all over it. Paul finally had a day off that fell during the time the pumpkin patch was open, so we decided what the heck lets load the kids up and take them. Mind you it's about 98 degrees outside. This should be fun!
Fun it was minus the heat and all the bees. It was like a mini festival. It has food, games, a corn field, petting zoo, and the famous pumpkin patch. We walked around and let Kailee go see all the animals, and see the cornfield and then we headed on the horse pulled trailer into the pumpkin patch. Everywhere you looked there was pumpkins. To your left, right, in front on you, and behind you. Kailee's face lit up and you could see the excitement written all over it. :)
She was honestly overwhelmed I think. It took her at least 45 minutes to take it all in. Then Paul finally told her to pick a pumpkin. She went crazy. She picked, huge ones, big ones, medium, and even the smaller ones. Jp woke up around this time and even started trying to get a pumpkin. He was the easy one. Paul showed him a small one and he grabbed on to it so tightly. We knew this was his choice. By this time the heat and not eating lunch was really starting to get to Paul and I, so we encouraged Kailee to put a rush on it. She decided on a smller one and off we went on our horse pulled trailer. Once we got back Kailee saw the little bitty pumpkins and just had to have one, well ok more like 3. We paid and said good bye to the pumpkin patch.
