Rebels

After trying to go to the park by our house and it being PACKED; I decided to head over to the park that's by our new house. One problem. I made a wrong turn so after already using more gas than anticipated I decided to pull into this little neighborhood park. I've drove by it a million times and have thought how cute it is. And, how lucky the kids are who live in that subdivision are. Yes I saw the NO Trespassing signs. Yes I even saw where it was posted that only people living in the neighborhood were allowed and guests only if accompanied. Guess what? After driving more than I wanted, after hearing all the when will we get theres, after being upset my original plans were ruined by an over packed park, I didn't care. So I unloaded my kids, opened the gate and in we went. Such a cute little play area. I mean really. Very nicely done. And the kids loved it because it wasn't like all the others. There were trees and a nice basketball court with rock decor. Just a very nice shady area. We were there about a hour before all the cars turning in and out started getting to me. I mean literally every one of them looked at us. It was as if they knew my car wasn't an usual. Then a lady came in with her dog and she just smiled an almost knowing smile. I was like okay okay lets get out of here. Getting ticketed in front of the kids is not something I wanted nor did I want to explain to my overly curious four year who had already lectured me about not supposed to being in there. Either way the kids had a good time and I FINALLY got to try the play area out that I have wanted to for two years. After wards, as an attempt to get the kids excited about the upcoming move I took them to the Mc Donalds that will be by the new house. It's within walking distance, but even better there's a play area. I got the kids a mc double to share and each an ice cream cone. They ate their ice cream like they haven't had ice cream in years. :) Then off to play they went. They had so much fun and as I sat there watching I kept thinking of all the new memories that would be made there once we move. Kinda got a little excited or I should say a little more excited about our move. We made it home and after playing in the water for a little out back we decided it was nap time. The kids well JP napped while Kailee talked to her Nana the entire time. After nap time the kids and I had some dinner and now we are dancing and listening to music. I'll clean house before bed time which will be an early one since The Children's Museum is tomorrow.
