Car Cruise and Cave Tour

This morning the kids and I headed to the library for our play group's V-Day party. Only once we got there it came out they forgot to actually put us down for the room. Now mind you my kids are decked out in non play clothes and it's decided we will just head to a local park and have it there. No biggie. Except, I was on a huge time schedule. I had the V-day party from 10-12 and then dropping them off at Carole's as close to 12 as possible to leave Tucson by 1 with Paul for the car cruise. So we make it to the park about 30 after ten and the kids immediately start playing in the sand. YIKES. White tights on Kailee was such a bad idea. Then they made their V-day bags to collect all their Valentines. And more playing. Kailee passed her Valentines out while JP opted to stay in the sand. It was ok by me because quite frankly it was a mad house around all the little bags and he's still just a little young. After that it was snack time and then we had to head out. They missed out on quite a bit of the party but I couldn't help it. Time crunch I'm telling you. So we get to Carole's and wait for Paul to come and say bye to the kids. Those kids LOVE it at Carole's. We barely get a good bye. They are always just so ready to play it up over there. We leave the kids and head to meet up with the car club. Grab a quick bite to eat. Literally a quick bite and start the cruise. It was quite a ways til we made it to Kartchner Caverns. Once we got there we had a bit of a wait before our cave tour started so we all just kind of stood around and talked. I was actually quite anxious for the tour. I love stuff like cave touring so I was so ready. Once it did get started it was amazing. We were in the cave just shy of two hours but it was so interesting and beautiful. I wasn't bored at all. There was so much to look at and see and so much history. Wow is all I can say. The down side no cameras allowed. I was quite bummed, but understood why. So any pics will be from the actual website.
After the cave tour we attempted dinner but the town we were in and it being Valentines weekend, we just didn't have much luck. Paul and I ended up splitting from the group and having dinner by our selves which was fine by me. We went to Chuey's in our area and it was so good. Then we went and picked up our babies. Kailee did not want to leave and Justin surprisingly was still asleep. We loaded them up and the kids took their first ride in the Cobra. Of course they were both stoked. Once home I put them in bed with me and we were out. It was such a nice day.
