Petco

Today the kids and I took a tour of Petco with our play group. I won't lie. I was very disappointed. I could have walked the store by myself with the kids and got more out of it. The tour was supposed to be a hour and very hands on. More like sit still, don't touch, don't get close and they saw a turtle, a guinea pig, a snake, some birds, and fish. No dogs or cats. The worker giving the tour had no idea how to interact with the kids and their ages and would get so irritated if a kid even stood up or moved when they weren't supposed to. The store was small and the kids were so cramped on top of each other they couldn't even see half the time. I just think it was a bad idea all around. After Petco we headed over to Chick Fil A where the kids ate some lunch and played. Jearise, the head of the group, and I discussed how to get out group involved with feeding the homeless. I presented my bulletin and everything so we shall see. After Chick Fil A the kids and I headed over to Target to get a few things. Now the kids and I are at home cleaning and trying to figure out what to do with the rest of our day.
