Christmas Eve Part II

OMG I am exhausted! Beyond exhausted. Too the point where my fingers aren't even really moving like normal and I could literally fall asleep. Yet, I am on here. If I don't do it now it won't get done. Lets start where I finished off last post. So yeah I managed to get the kids and I dressed, cookies packaged up, and Abbey fed and off we went to the station. The kids loved seeing Paul at station two and of course first thing after hugs and kisses we were in the fire truck. After some super yummy food and socializing the kids and I said our good byes and headed home to change and get ready for our Christmas Eve get together. We literally had one hour to package more cookies and change into our dressy attire. The kids of course dressed up one last time. Before we left I let the kids open up their Christmas cards from their Grandma and Poppy from Vegas. They LOVED their cards with stickers and gift cards. Both already know what they want to get with them. We met up and followed Liz and her husband since it's a 45 minute drive to her sister's house and I had no idea how to get there. I figured we would be there maybe two hours at the most. I was sooooo wrong. We didn't even leave until midnight. And the great thing about AZ they don't believe in street lights. It was so dark coming back I had such a hard time seeing. The kids had an absolute blast! They had a few friends to play with, lots of food and toys. It was a nice time and it sure beat staying at home alone wishing Paul was here. When we got home the kids missed Paul and really wanted him home so I used it as an excuse to let them sleep with me. We took some goofy pics, read The Night Before Christmas, and said our prayers. Once they fell asleep I snuck back out and here I am. Here are some pics from our Christmas Eve.

BTW Yes I am aware the pics are out of order and my daughter woke up on Christmas Even wearing Halloween pjs. I am too tired to re organize the pics and I can't help it she loves her pink Halloween pjs that much :)
