Candy Canes and Lights

Tonight after dinner I decided to take the kids for a little cruise around our neighborhood and the surrounding ones to look at all the Christmas lights and decorations. My original plan was a walk bundled up, but it was kind of windy and windy and cold makes for sicker kiddos so I nixed the walking. Both of them loved looking at all the different decorations and the different ways people put lights up. It was neat to see their reactions. After bath time they got to hang candy canes on the Christmas tree. Some how Kailee talked Paul into letting her get some at Toys R Us yesterday and he mentioned hanging them on the tree. Nice of him to mention it and then work the next day LOL. I've been bugged about it since they both woke up. They loved it. I even let them have one before bed. Bad me, but I mean what kind of mom would I have been if I wouldn't have let them?
