Adventures in Babysitting

Ok well maybe not adventures, but I did babysit tonight. Kailee LOVED it because her friend Jade and Diego came. I would steal Jade in a heartbeat. She is the sweetest little 7 year old I have ever met. And, so polite and helpful. And did I mention that Justin LOVES her? He loves Jade and follows her and Kailee everywhere. I made them some dinner and then we baked. Every one calls me the baker here which is funny because I never really baked in Texas. I guess I just picked it up once getting here. Kailee loves helping and JP too so it's kind of a cool thing to do w them. I don't eat the treats I bake, but the kids get to and Paul as well. Tonight we made cake cookies. Probably the easiest recipe ever. And boy were they good. Yeah yeah I know I just said I don't eat what I bake but after the day I've had I did. So Kailee, Jade and Diego made the cookies. They each had so much fun rolling the dough into balls and then putting cool whip and sprinkles on top. Haha I am so bad for giving Jade and Diego cookies on a school night. They loved it so that's all that matters. I was surprised because they mentioned that they are never allowed to help their mom cook. Kind of like really. I mean at 5 and 7 I figured they would help all the time. Kailee's been helping my mom and I cook for years now. JP for quite a while too. So after I stuffed their faces with cookies they went into Kailee's room watched a movie and fell asleep. Justin fell asleep too and Kailee's still wide awake to this point. She's actually jamming out and shaking her booty as I type. I really need to get her into dance....
