It's Party Time!

The day is finally here. It's time to party! Today we are celebrating JP's birthday with all of our friends and their kids. It should be an awesome time. I've been baking all morning and decorating. So I've been super busy and am already tired and the party hasn't even started LOL I'm still stoked though. This year I decided to make his birthday cake rather than get a store bought one. His theme this year is Tonka. He loves Tonka cars, trucks, and basically anything to do with Tonka. The only problem I ran into was no one makes a Tonka themed cake and they clarenced out all the decorations so I wasn't able to get table clothes or goodie bags. My best friend gave us some super cute monster truck goodie bags, and I just used solid yello and black table clothes. I made four cakes since we are having such a large amount of people over. About 40 to 50 people. So I made a yellow cake with chocolate icing with walnuts on top, a white cake with white icing for his actual birthday cake and decorated it with Tonka trucks, a strawberry cake with coolwhip for the top with strawberrys on top, and a funetti cake. They all turned out good and I can't wait to dig in! I'll have pics posted later on.
